- 1In the DiDi app, open Refer a Friend or Promotions and copy your personal invite link.
- 2Send the link to someone who has not taken a DiDi ride in Australia before.
- 3Ask them to add a valid card or PayPal, sign up and complete a paid trip within the active referral window (often around 30 days).
- 4Check both wallets for ride credits, usually within 24 to 48 hours of the qualifying trip.
What you get
New DiDi riders in Australia who have never completed a trip locally can receive a first-ride voucher package (often totalling around A$15 to A$20 split across smaller vouchers) after signing up through a referral link and finishing a qualifying paid ride. Amounts shift by city and campaign.

Eligibility and gotchas
- DiDi requires a linked payment method before vouchers can redeem.
- Duplicate phone numbers, emails or cards tied to older DiDi accounts can block the bonus.
- Vouchers cover base fare components; tolls, levies and cancellation fees stay on the card.
