- 1Open koinly.io/?via=0B0DC089 in a browser with cookies allowed before you create an account.
- 2Import exchange and wallet history, review transactions, and choose the paid plan you need for your tax year.
- 3Complete the first paid purchase so Koinly can issue referral credit to both accounts according to its help article terms.
What you get
New Koinly users must sign up through a personal invitation URL with browser cookies enabled, then purchase their first paid plan. Free signups or imports alone do not qualify. After the purchase, Koinly credits both the invited user and inviter with account credit toward future purchases. The amount, currency, and any checkout discount are shown on Koinly Refer a friend page before you pay and can change.

Eligibility and gotchas
- Referral identifiers in links are not checkout promo codes; typing them into the promo field will not attach the invite.
- Referral discounts cannot combine with other promotions and exclude paid add-ons like expert review, dual nationality reporting, and daily sync.
- Clicking an invitation link after you already registered will not link an existing account.
