What you get and what you need to do
What you need to do
- 1Ask an Athena home loan customer with a settled loan to share their Ultimate$ code with you.
- 2Add that code to your application form before you submit the file. Athena typically cannot attach codes once assessment has started.
- 3Meet lending conditions through to settlement. Athena then pays each qualifying party into offset or redraw within 30 days.
What you get
When the settled loan balance reaches A$350,000 or higher, the new borrower and the person who shared Ultimate$ each get A$1,000. Under A$350,000 at settlement, each party gets A$250. Athena deposits the amount into an offset or redraw account within 30 days of settlement, not at approval. Separate self-referral tiers (A$2,000 / A$500) apply when an existing customer adds another property with their own code.
Referrer side: A$250 or A$1,000 after the referred loan settles (same tier as borrower)
Eligibility and gotchas
- The borrower must be new to Athena settlement history, and the referrer needs an active settled loan plus a valid Ultimate$ code.
- Top-ups, same-property variations, and some return cases after refinancing away are out of scope.
- Bonuses attach to the loan, not to every co-borrower on a joint file.
- Athena may amend the program or withhold payments for fraud or arrears.
Double-check expiry, eligibility and exclusions on the provider's site before you sign up.
