What you need to do
- 1Share your GloBird referral link so the friend completes signup through that URL.
- 2They transfer their home electricity or gas to GloBird on an eligible residential plan.
- 3Once their opening bill is paid on or before the due date, GloBird posts A$50 credit to both accounts on subsequent statements.
What you get
A new residential electricity or gas customer who joins through a valid GloBird referral link and was not with GloBird at the same address in the prior 24 months can receive a A$50 account credit after paying their first invoice by the due date.

Eligibility and gotchas
- Residential customers only; business accounts and channel partners are excluded.
- Referral tracking requires the link at initial signup; retroactive codes are not supported.
- Unused credit expires 12 months after it is applied and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- If the new account closes within three months of connection, GloBird may reverse the A$50 from both parties.
