What you need to do

1. 1An existing OVO customer shares their personal referral URL.
2. 2The friend opens that link and signs up to their first OVO market contract at an eligible address in NSW, QLD, SA or VIC.
3. 3OVO applies monthly bill credits to both accounts for up to 12 months while each party meets the refer-a-friend conditions.

What you get

A new customer who signs their first OVO Energy market contract at an eligible premises in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia or Victoria through a valid referral URL can receive A$180 total bill credit on electric-vehicle plans (including the plus-one-hundred-percent option), or A$120 on other eligible market plans. OVO applies the reward in equal monthly instalments (A$15 or A$10) for up to 12 months while eligibility continues.

Referrer side: Same A$180 or A$120 total, paid monthly while both stay eligible

Eligibility and gotchas

• Credits are bill offsets only; they cannot be taken as cash, refunded to a bank account, or redeemed outside billing.
• If the new customer leaves OVO before 12 months, both parties forfeit unpaid instalments from the date supply ends at that premises.
• If the inviter leaves early, only the inviter loses remaining credits; the new customer keeps theirs if still eligible.
• Referral credit cannot combine with another credit offer such as a separate welcome promotion.
